Thanksgiving & Gratitude in General :)

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

You know, I don’t really need a holiday to express gratitude and I know that you don’t either!  But the thing is, in the busy hustle and bustle of L-I-F-E, humans often forget about this magical thing!  It warms my heart and soul knowing that on this day, many more people than usual are taking the time to connect with what they are thankful for!  Just think of all the beautiful energy of grateful-ness flowing at the same time!  Surely the world is a little bit better off for it.   🙂

I have so many things to be thankful for that my list can get pretty ridiculous! However, the highlight of my Thanksgiving was being around and connecting with so many amazing people that I love so dearly.  And I would just like to take this moment to yell “thank you for being in my life!!!!!” to all of them.   🙂  I love you all so much!  And that love is more than extended to my beautiful internet-family as well.  And, of course, even if you are a first-timer here, I promise you are included!  Finally, for those of you who will never read my blog or connect with me directly in any way, shape or form, I TRULY love you too!!!!  From the bottom of my heart!  Promise!!!!!!

Starting my day in gratitude is something I actually do quite often in my personal life and let me tell you, it has a HUGE impact!  If you are looking to make a small change in your life right now to make it better, I challenge you to take a few minutes each morning and write down FIVE things you are thankful for!  It is such an awesome way to start your day out on the right foot.  It is a lot harder to feel grumpy inside when you are focusing on all of the wonder that you have and are!!!!

So yeah, holiday or not, let us all try and spread more gratitude!  There are so many ways we can do this!  A few more:

  • Telling our food “thank you” before we eat it
  • Thanking all of our “things” each day as we use them (computer, clothing, etc.)
  • Sincerely expressing gratitude for help we receive in public from people who work in stores, banks, etc.
  • Meditating on the feeling of gratitude and expanding
  • Randomly telling the special people in our life how thankful we are for them

I would love to hear your Thanksgiving stories, anything you are thankful for and also any ways that you spread or create gratitude in your life!  Please share!!!!

~Spread LOVE~
