Hey everyone!
Remember this post? I was celebrating the one year anniversary of my Vita-mix blender! Well here I am again, three years later and I couldn’t help but notice the date! January 17, 2013 ~ I have had my Vita-mix for FOUR years!!!
Here she is; still going strong!
I am very happy that I noticed this! I think it can be really beneficial to celebrate milestones as it is a reminder of how far you have come which helps create inspiration for now and the future!
When I think back to the shape I was in four years ago it gives me perspective on where I am today. And this makes me feel SO GRATEFUL! I am so thankful to be alive and able to breathe, feel, run, touch, laugh, play and so much more! I am also so happy to be right here and on my other sites helping and inspiring others to find their way! I thank you all for that!
As some of you may already know, my Vita-mix played a HUGE role on my road to recovery! Mainly in the area of helping me make amazing and healthy smoothies and green smoothies!
For those of you who don’t know, you can read more about my journey here.
I would like to celebrate today by sharing a smoothie recipe with you all! It is very simple yet REALLY delicious!
Banana-Apple-Cinnamon-Love Smoothie
1 cup water
3 bananas
1 large apple
Cinnamon to taste
5 ice cubes
Blend and enjoy!!!!!
This smoothie is seriously SO yummy! And it is a great winter smoothie as it has kind of a cozy feel to it. Cinnamon is also a warming spice so it can help heat up your insides on a cold winter day! Oh, and did I mention that it’s really healthy too (and of course vegan, gluten-free and raw)? Yeah! Can’t beat that!
One more thing I would like to mention in celebration of all of this Vita-mix and smoothie stuff is that I am planning to do an updated green smoothie post sometime soon. So stay tuned for that!
Thank you all for being here with me today and sharing my joy and gratitude and excitement and everything else!

Tasty recipe 🙂 I try to add flax seeds when I get around to my smoothie creations
Thanks! Yeah, I often add flax or chia seeds to my green smoothies but when I make this particular recipe I like to keep it super-simple! It is kind of my “dessert” smoothie! 🙂
Chia seeds…need to look those up 🙂
YO – I’ve been moving around so much! I adjust to new places and in doing so forget a lot – what things to restore in my life – GOTTA GET A BLENDER !!
Glad I could help remind you, ha ha. 🙂
Happy Birthday Vita-mix! Thank you for helping my Tanni to heal!
Awww, thanks Mom! Yay! 🙂
